Equipment Rental
If you wish to use ITRC equipment outside of regular office hours, an equipment rental system is available to Western faculty, graduate students, and staff.
All use of ITRC equipment must be initiated by a faculty member and the equipment must be used to create instructional materials. Equipment loans will be approved as long as the request is reasonable and doesn't conflict with internal ITRC use. A form must be completed stating your contact information, the equipment being borrowed, and any other necessary accessories.

Audio Kit
Description:
The Audio Kits contain a lav mic, a reciever for the mic, a power cable and an aux cable. They are available for rental
USB Microphone
Description:
The USB Mic is a microphone that can be borrowed from the ITRC in order to record audio for voice-over-powerpoint projects or other education projects which would benefit from higher quality audio recording than is available from a computer webcam.
Camcorder Kit
Description:
The camcorder kit is available for instructors to borrow in order to film lecture or other educational material. The kit contains:
- Camcorder
- Power Cable
- Micro USB to USB cable
- Mini HDMI to HDMI
